Where courage meets healing — the deepest act of bravery — and the warrior soul finds peace.
Spirit of Valor is a veteran-focused healing initiative being developed by Iowaska Church of Healing to address the deep, often invisible wounds carried by those who have served. This program is devoted to supporting veterans struggling with PTSD, addiction, depression, anxiety, moral injury, and the long-term effects of trauma — conditions that continue to take a devastating toll on veterans and their families across the United States.
Every day, veterans face disproportionately high rates of suicide, substance dependency, and reliance on powerful pharmaceutical medications to manage symptoms rather than resolve root causes. Many are prescribed complex combinations of antidepressants, antipsychotics, sleep aids, and pain medications — often for years — while still reporting isolation, emotional numbness, and a loss of purpose. The wounds of war run deeper than symptoms alone. Spirit of Valor exists to provide veterans with a path to root-level healing addressing the mind, nervous system, and spirit together.

This initiative is envisioned to be the first veteran-focused Ayahuasca program on American soil, designed to provide a safe, legally protected, and spiritually grounded environment for healing. At its core, Spirit of Valor honors the courage it takes not only to serve, but to heal.
Spirit of Valor will be led personally by BaBa DaDo, founder of Iowaska Church of Healing — a world-renowned shaman, mystic, and survivor of war himself. Having endured extreme hardship and lived through the realities of brutal conflict, BaBa DaDo carries a rare, embodied understanding of trauma, resilience, and the long road back to peace. His work is not theoretical; it is lived. This depth allows him to guide veterans with profound empathy, spiritual authority, and unwavering respect.
Spirit of Valor is being designed not only to support the veteran, but to integrate healing into family life and the future that follows. True healing does not end with ceremony, but rather continues through integration, community, and the restoration of connection, purpose, and freedom.
This program is currently in development as we continue pursuing full legal recognition and building the necessary foundation to fully open our doors to veterans with the highest standards of safety, integrity, and care.
If you are a veteran or a family member of one, and feel called to learn more, we invite you to reach out and share your story. Your voice matters. Your experience matters. And your healing matters.
Spirit of Valor is not about reliving the past.
It is about reclaiming life, dignity, and peace — together.
