I AM NOT!

I AM NOT

I want to clarify that when I say I’m not crazy, I mean that I have experienced abuse that has deeply affected me. It is not a reflection of an inherent instability in my mental state but rather a direct consequence of the mistreatment and harm I have endured. These experiences have left wounds that run deep and continue to affect me in various ways.

Concerning the notion of being reserved, it goes beyond mere shyness. It is a conscious effort on my part to establish boundaries and protect myself from potential harm or discomfort. This self-preservation is a learned behavior born out of necessity from past experiences, allowing me to prioritize my well-being and safeguard my mental and emotional health.

When I assert that I am not bitter but rather speaking the truth, it is a testament to the transformative power of my experiences. Rather than holding onto grudges, I strive to acknowledge and articulate the reality of what has transpired in my life. Through this acknowledgment, I seek to process and make sense of the challenges I have faced, fostering a sense of authenticity and personal growth.

Acknowledging the damage I have sustained without dwelling on the past is a delicate balancing act. It involves recognizing the profound impact of past events on my present self while actively working towards healing and personal evolution. By confronting the scars and wounds I carry, I aim to embrace my journey of self-discovery and resilience, moving forward with a sense of empowerment and purpose.

Lastly, when I speak of not being delusional but having lived a nightmare, it is a reflection of the stark realities I have confronted and the strength I have demonstrated in overcoming them. These are not mere fantasies or illusions but the harsh truths of my lived experiences. By acknowledging and confronting these challenges head-on, I strive to honor the resilience and courage that have allowed me to navigate through the darkest moments of my life and emerge stronger on the other side.

“WHEN I MENTION THAT I’M NOT DELUSIONAL BUT HAVE ACTUALLY LIVED THROUGH A NIGHTMARE, I’M ACKNOWLEDGING THE HARSH REALITIES I’VE FACED AND THE STRENGTH I’VE SHOWN IN OVERCOMING THEM.”

In the depths of my being, I find strength not in weakness, but in the profound act of placing trust in others. The willingness to extend trust is not a manifestation of vulnerability; rather, it is a testament to both strength and vulnerability intertwined. While there are moments when the weight of the world may make me feel like giving up, in truth, I am embarked on a profound journey of self-healing and self-discovery, a journey that is marked by resilience and determination, not one of surrender.

The challenges and struggles that have crossed my path do not define the entirety of who I am. They are but chapters in the intricate story of my life, chapters that contribute to but do not encompass the essence of my being. Within me resides a spirit that is resilient, ever capable of growth, and inherently deserving of healing and happiness. I refuse to allow my past or my struggles to dictate my present or future. I am shaped not by the adversities I have faced, but by my unwavering commitment to persevere, to learn, and to evolve.

Every day that dawns upon me brings with it new opportunities for growth, for understanding, and for renewal. As I navigate this path of healing and self-discovery, I am constantly reminded of the strength that lies within me, waiting to be tapped into. By embracing these truths and sharing my story with the world, I hope to shed light on the complexities of the human experience and to inspire others to recognize the resilience that lies dormant within each and every one of us.

Healing is not an event; it is a process—a journey marked by small victories and incremental progress. Each step forward is a triumph, a reclaiming of my sense of self and well-being. Like a diligent gardener tending to their garden, I approach the task of healing with patience and dedication, understanding that it is not a quick fix but a daily practice of weeding out sorrows, nourishing resilience, and cultivating forgiveness. In this process, I find solace, strength, and the unwavering belief that I am capable of overcoming any obstacle that comes my way.

“HEALING ISN’T A SINGLE EVENT; IT’S A JOURNEY FILLED WITH SMALL VICTORIES AND GRADUAL PROGRESS.”

I salute the light within you – BaBa DaDo
